This is Ms. Friska’s website where I share my experience and strategies to promote reading is fun to people around, and now to you too 🙂 Today’s library session topic is about this exciting story going to the outer space and the title is: Goodnight Spaceman : the First Ever Bedtime Story Recorded in Space! 🙂
It’s one small step for man but one giant leap for mankind. This story is inspired by Tim Peake, the first British ESA astronaut (European Space Agency Principia mission to the International Space Station, 2015-2016.
The book provided an audio CD with the story recorded from the International Space Station.
Michelle Robinson has always wanted to be an author like her hero Roald Dahl, but all they had in common was the same birthday and a love of chocolate. Now at last, Michelle is a real author too. She lives in Frome, Somerset, with her husband, son and daughter.
Nick has been working as a museum designer for the past 16 years. He has always been a storyteller, whether as a child, filling sketchbooks with quirky characters, or as a designer displaying a collection of ancient artifacts. Either way he has always found drawing the best way to communicate his ideas and has a mad passion for illustration.
His love of children’s books has been with him all his life and he is now relishing the fact of working with two publishers, creating a couple of contrasting books for younger children. Nick lives near York with his wife and two children and when he isn’t drawing, he is out riding bikes and spending time with his family.
Both of them are active in writing and Nick East especially with his drawing talent. Together, their collaborative working created:
- Goodnight Santa
- Goodnight Princess
- Goodnight Pirate
- Goodnight Spaceman
- Goodnight Digger
- Goodnight Tractor
